Description
Nubble Lighthouse has been in operation since 1879. It is a popular lighthouse to photograph, as there is a parking lot just across the water that offers plentiful views from different angles.
It was a foggy morning when I was there, and the sky was gray with clouds. Nevertheless, there were a great many tourists there, all taking the same pictures. Searching for a unique angle, I glanced down at the rocks I was scrambling over and saw small puddles of water. On a hunch, I crouched down, set my camera just at the edge of the puddle I chose, and aimed my camera. This picture was one of the results of my experiment. Nubble is perfectly reflected in the puddle.
